Vista Metals to invest $60 million in Kentucky aluminum casting facility

Vista Metals, a manufacturer of specialty aluminum products primarily supporting aerospace, commercial aircraft, defense, automotive, and general industrial applications, has announced plans to locate a new specialty aluminum products operation in Bowling Green, Ky., creating more than 50 jobs.

Initial site preparation is already underway, and Vista Metals will commence with a phased build-out to support growth in its core markets. As part of this $60 million project, the company plans to acquire more than 100 acres and build a facility with over 75,000 sq. ft.
