Steel Warehouse rebrands its Cold Mill division as Specialty Strip

Steel Warehouse Co., a service center in South Bend, Ind., has announced the rebranding of its Cold Mill division as Specialty Strip, a boutique cold mill. This change includes capital investments in its cold rolling mill equipment to help ensure repeatability and predictability of cold-rolled strip product.

Specialty Strip, located at the South Bend campus, is part of Steel Warehouse’s Specialty Steel division, which also includes Chesterfield Steel (Cleveland), Siegal (Chicago), and Steel Warehouse Portage (Portage, Ind.).

Specialty Strip offers cold rolling, annealing, and slitting operations customized for tight-tolerance orders. Materials include carbon steels; specialty alloys; and high-strength, low-alloy strip.
