Steel processing provider JM Steel has completed a major expansion of Nextracker-dedicated manufacturing lines at its Leetsdale, Pa., steel facility, achieving 4 GW of capacity. Nextracker is a global provider of solar tracker and software systems.

The refurbished factory produces critical steel components to support rising demand for solar energy across Pennsylvania and the mid-Atlantic. The facility tripled its capacity with the addition of new, dedicated manufacturing lines for solar energy projects, including solar tube lines with automated drilling and swedging, creating 60 manufacturing jobs.
